Dispatch / Logistics Worker

About the job

The client specialises in producing, packing and shipping chemical samples to customers around the world. From their location in Waalwijk, every shipment is processed safely, correctly and in line with international regulations. As a dispatch worker you are an important link in the logistics process. You make sure products are packed properly, shipped and processed.

What you'll do

• Prepare products for shipping according to the planning and priorities
• Process orders in the Pick, Pack & Ship system
• Create transport documents and shipping labels
• Check regulations for hazardous substances and transport
• Align with colleagues on customer instructions and shipment details

You work the day shift from 08:00 to 16:45. You need to be willing to obtain various certificates.

What we ask

• Good command of Dutch or English
• Experience in logistics
• Forklift certificate, or willingness to obtain one
• Knowledge of ADR (international regulations for transporting hazardous goods by road) or hazardous materials regulations is a plus

What we offer

• Gross salary of €2,700 per month
• Full time, 40 hours per week
• Travel cost reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometre
