About the job
A logistics worker is responsible for a set group of products in the warehouse. You make sure stock levels, quality, storage and loading are always in order. The client is a modern family business in Eindhoven. They specialise in fresh vegetables and fruit. From a large, modern distribution centre, fresh products are received, checked, packed and prepared for delivery to retailers in more than 25 countries across Europe every day.
What you'll do
- Handle incoming and outgoing goods for your product group
- Check stock levels every day and keep inventory positions up to date
- Check the quality and condition of products and report any issues straight away
- Decide where products are stored in the warehouse
- Make sure products are stored and loaded according to customer requirements, quality standards and product specifications
- Communicate daily with the team leader or supervisor
- Consult with the quality controller about the condition of products
- Support other warehouse tasks when needed
What we ask
- Willing to work with vegetables and fruit
- English required
- Dutch is a plus
- Available to work on Saturdays
- Willing to learn the product knowledge needed for this role
