Logistics Worker (Plants)

About the job

The client is a company that trades in plants and flowers, active in more than 30 countries, mainly in Europe. As a logistics worker, you are responsible for the correct and timely loading and unloading of purchased and sold products.

What you'll do

• You receive drivers and make sure they can unload and load products
• You make sure delivered products reach the right place in the production hall
• You handle the administrative side of shipments and manage the return flow of packaging
• You work regularly with the sales department and production staff, and you have contact with external carriers

What we ask

• A level of education or work experience equivalent to MBO (Dutch secondary vocational education)
• Similar experience at a flower auction export company or in the horticultural sector is a plus
• Good command of Dutch and/or English, and good communication skills
• Available to work 06:00/07:00 to 16:00/17:00 or a late shift from 10:00 to 20:00; during peak season hours can extend to a maximum of 22:00
