Warehouse Worker - Building Materials

About the job

As a warehouse worker, you are an important part of the logistics process. You work in the distribution centre of a large national organisation that supplies building materials to professional customers. Every day is a little different.

What you'll do

• Pick and prepare building materials for shipment
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift and/or reach truck
• Check incoming goods and place them in the right location
• Keep the work area clean, safe and tidy
• Work both outside and inside the distribution centre
• Work with your colleagues to make sure all orders are ready on time

What we ask

• Experience with a forklift or reach truck, or willing to learn
• No issues with physical work and lifting
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
• Accurate and safety-conscious
• Able to take initiative and help colleagues when needed

What we offer

• Full-time position for a longer period, with the prospect of a permanent contract
• Gross salary up to €2,809.99 per month based on full-time hours, depending on knowledge and experience
• Employment conditions based on the Hibin CAO (CAO: a collective labour agreement that sets standard pay and conditions for a sector)
• 37 days off per year on full-time hours: 25 holiday days and 12 ATV days (ATV: scheduled days off to reduce working hours, common in Dutch CAO agreements)
• 8% vakantiegeld (vakantiegeld: a mandatory holiday allowance, paid on top of your salary), paid annually or monthly
• Travel costs reimbursed from 10 up to a maximum of 25 kilometres one way
