Warehouse worker production fruit and vegetables

About the job

The client is a family company with over 65 years of experience. They deliver fresh potatoes, vegetables and fruit to the food service industry every day. You work in a modern warehouse in Ridderkerk, in a team of more than 350 people. The atmosphere is informal and straightforward.

What you'll do

• Work in a modern, clean production environment with fresh potatoes, vegetables and fruit
• Lift boxes of products and stack them on pallets
• Pack ready-made salads following exact instructions
• Follow hygiene and safety rules at all times
• Work with sharp knives and cutting machines, with care
• Keep your workstation clean together with the team
• Work in a cold store at around 7°C
• Work flexible shifts from Monday to Sunday, including evening and night shifts

What we ask

• Minimum vmbo (Dutch vocational secondary education) level
• Preferably 1 to 2 years of experience as a warehouse worker, order picker, or in logistics or production
• Fully available and flexible, including evening and night shifts
• Enough Dutch or English to understand and follow instructions
• Physically fit: able to lift and work in a cold environment (around 7°C)
• Careful about safety and hygiene rules
• Living within 50 km of Ridderkerk

What we offer

• Pay from €14.99 gross per hour, with supplements up to €21.00 on night shifts
• Shift supplements: Mon-Fri 19:00-23:00 125%, 23:00-06:00 140%; Saturday 15:00-19:00 110%, 19:00-23:00 125%, 23:00-06:00 140%; Sunday 200%
• Vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a Dutch legal supplement) of 8.33%
• Travel cost reimbursement of €0.25 per km for distances over 10 km one way
