About the job
Warehouse worker at Schiphol-Rijk airport. You work full-time in cargo logistics. Together with your team, you make sure goods are received and sent out correctly and on time. The pay is €16.70 to €17.80 gross per hour, with shift allowances and room to grow.
You work in a mixed team on a three-shift rotation
- Morning shift: 06:30–14:30
- Afternoon shift: 14:30–22:30
- Night shift: 22:30–06:30
What you'll do
- Check that shipments are complete
- Inspect goods for damage
- Load and unload goods
- Make sure goods go to the right place
- Work with a forklift (if you don't have a certificate, the opdrachtgever (client company) will arrange training)
What we ask
- At least 1 year of experience in logistics
- VMBO level education (lower secondary vocational)
- Willingness to obtain an aviation cargo certificate (costs covered by the opdrachtgever)
- Good command of Dutch and/or English
- Ability to obtain a Verklaring van Geen Bezwaar (VGB, a security clearance required for airside work). You must have been continuously registered in the EU for at least 8 years. The opdrachtgever submits the application on your behalf.
What we offer
- €16.70 to €17.80 gross per hour, depending on experience (including a 2.5% annual bonus)
- Evening, night, and weekend shift allowances: 125% to 140%
- Public holiday allowance: 200%
- Weekly pay
- 8.33% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory Dutch bonus paid on top of your salary) and travel cost reimbursement (max. €11.50 per day)
- 25 days of annual leave plus 7 paid public holidays per year
- Forklift certificate paid for by the employer
