Warehouse Worker – Internal Transport

About the job

As a warehouse worker for internal transport, you keep the logistics running smoothly. Every day you move goods between different locations and halls on the site. You use forklifts, side loaders and other equipment. You work at the client company, a metal wholesaler in Valkenswaard. They deal in steel, stainless steel, aluminium and non-ferrous metals. The company has more than 1000 employees across 9 businesses in 4 European countries.

What you'll do

• Internal transport: move goods between locations and halls using forklifts, side loaders and other equipment
• Receiving goods: check incoming materials and place them in the right locations
• Warehouse management: keep the workplace tidy and organised, and monitor stock levels

What we ask

• Good physical condition and willingness to do active work
• Available to work a 2-shift system
• Dutch or English language skills
• Valid category B driving licence
• Experience with a forklift or side loader is a plus, but not required. Willingness to learn is what counts

What we offer

• Gross salary of €2,969 per month, including a shift allowance of 12.5%
• 31.5 days of leave
• Travel cost reimbursement from 10 km up to a maximum of 30 km one way, at €0.23 per kilometre
