Steel Mast Assembly Worker

About the job

This job is about assembling steel masts at a production facility in Burgum. The client makes steel masts used in infrastructure projects in the Netherlands and abroad. These include street lighting, traffic signals, road signs, camera systems, traction networks, and chargers for heavy electric vehicles. The company has more than 75 employees across two locations.

What you'll do

• Remove uneven zinc spots after the galvanising process using a grinder
• Fit mast doors
• Equip the inside of masts
• Maintain the mast base
• Prepare finished products for transport

• Good hand skills and a practical way of working
• Technical and spatial thinking
• Willing to work in a two-shift system
• Flexible when there is extra demand, not strictly a nine-to-five mentality
• VCA Basis certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for working on construction and industrial sites), or willing to get one
• No experience needed, a good attitude and strong hand skills are what matter

What we offer

• Salary from €2,466.56 to €3,400.00 gross per month
• Shift allowance when working the two-shift system
• Travel costs reimbursed
