Precision Assembly Worker

About the job

As a precision assembly worker, you assemble products used worldwide in the marine sector. You combine hands-on assembly with a technical understanding of the equipment and make sure every part ends up in the right place.

You work independently at your own workstation. You follow technical drawings and instructions, check your own results, and make sure the end product meets quality requirements.

What you'll do

• Assembling: joining small mechanical parts into a finished product with precision
• Building: constructing precision-mechanical and electrotechnical components using technical drawings
• Connecting: routing cables and electrotechnical parts according to diagrams and work instructions
• Testing: checking that assembled instruments work correctly
• Improving: spotting deviations and discussing them with colleagues

What we ask

• Experience with precise hands-on assembly
• Technical education at mbo (Dutch vocational qualification) level 3 or 4 in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or similar (preferred)
• Experience in precision assembly or assembling electrotechnical products (preferred)
• Ability to read and work with technical drawings and work instructions
• Technical mindset and attention to detail
• Independent way of working and a focus on quality

Note: this role involves precision assembly with small components. A background in heavy metalwork, heavy machinery, turning, or milling does not fit this position.

What we offer

• Gross salary from €2,750 to €4,000 per month, depending on knowledge and experience
• Working week of 32 to 40 hours
• Fixed hours from 08:00 to 16:30
• 27 holiday days and 13 ADV days (scheduled time off based on a longer working week) at full time
