Production worker

About the job

You work at a large facility in Zoetermeer. The company makes meat products sold in supermarkets across the Netherlands, including grilled sausages, minced meat, filet americain, and more. They supply chains like Jumbo, Lidl, and Plus. The company has been in the food industry for many years.

No slaughter takes place at this site. Only meat that has already been slaughtered is processed here. The workplace follows strict hygiene standards (NVWA, the Dutch food safety authority, and BRC food safety certification).

What you'll do

• Pack meat products
• Monitor the production process and help where needed
• Read production recipes and plans
• Check products for correct labels and expiry dates
• Produce according to plan
• Keep machines supplied

What we ask

• You live near Rotterdam, Den Haag, Zoetermeer, Leiden, Waddinxveen, Capelle aan den IJssel, Alphen aan den Rijn, or Woerden
• You are comfortable working in a multicultural team
• You are available full-time and can work overtime when orders are urgent
• You speak English or Dutch
• You can work at a fast pace
• You can start every morning at 06:00 or 07:00

What we offer

• Gross hourly rate from €14.99
• You can grow into a machine operator or process operator role through internal training or other courses
• Annual bonus
• Overtime pay at 131% of your hourly rate (for work before 06:00 or after 18:00)
• Cold environment allowance of €0.10 or €0.20 per hour

• Travel cost reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometre
