Production worker - fish processing

About the job

Start a new role as a production worker in fish processing in Veghel. No previous experience in this industry is needed.

What you'll do

• Packing fish. No prior knowledge needed, speed matters.
• Order picking: collecting products in the logistics department for transport.
• Processing fish in different ways: cleaning, filleting, portioning and custom packing. You will learn about fish on the job. Attention to quality is important.
• Keeping your workspace clean and hygienic.
• Quality checks and following set production procedures.

Working hours

Work is in a two-shift system. Flexibility is required.

• Morning shift: start between 06:00 and 08:00, finish between 14:30 and 16:30.
• Afternoon shift: start between 13:30 and 15:30, finish between 23:00 and 00:30.

What we ask

• Dutch, English at A2 level, or Polish.
• Experience as a production worker is a plus.
• Willing to work in a cold environment.

What we offer

• Hourly rate:

21 years and older: €15.20 gross per hour

20 years: €13.80 gross per hour

19 years: €12.35 gross per hour

18 years: €10.89 gross per hour

• Vakantiegeld (holiday allowance) of 8%.
• Allowance for irregular hours between 25% and 100%.
• Cold environment allowance: €0.49 per hour.
• Freezer allowance: €1.19 per hour.
• A supervisor on site to show you the ropes.
