Food Production Worker

About the job

As an all-round production worker you take part in every stage of food production: preparing ingredients and dough, operating production machines, and checking product quality. You learn the full process step by step and take on more responsibility as your skills grow. The work is at a modern production facility in Zeewolde, at a family business that makes authentic Surinamese products.

What you'll do

• Operate, set up, and monitor food production machines
• Prepare and weigh ingredients according to recipes
• Make fillings and prepare different types of dough
• Bake and fry products according to production guidelines
• Carry out quality checks throughout the production process
• Spot and report minor machine faults or production problems
• Support the packaging team when needed
• Clean machines, tools, and workstations
• Follow food hygiene and workplace safety rules

What we ask

• A hands-on attitude and willingness to learn new skills
• Willingness to take on responsibility
• Available to work 06:00-14:30 or 07:00-15:30
• Able to work in a team with colleagues from different backgrounds

What we offer

• €15.66 gross per hour, based on a 38-hour working week, depending on knowledge and experience
• Travel cost reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometre for distances from 10 km and above
• 38-hour working week, day shifts
• Working hours 06:00-14:30 or 07:00-15:30, agreed together
