Production worker vegetables and fruit

About the job

As a production worker in Ridderkerk, you work with fresh vegetables and fruit. You make sure things run smoothly, from peeling and cutting to packing products. You work in a modern production facility where hygiene and good teamwork matter.

What you'll do

• Processing raw vegetables and fruit: peeling, removing pits, and cleaning
• Cutting vegetables and fruit by hand and/or by machine
• Carefully packing and repacking products
• Finishing salads and ready-made meals on the production line
• Filling containers by hand according to instructions
• Checking weight, labels, and product sealing
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of machines and tools

You work Monday to Saturday, with two days off per week. The working week is 5 days. Working hours: between 06:00 and 17:00, start between 06:00 and 08:00, finish between 16:00 and 17:00.

What we ask

• Education level equivalent to MBO (Dutch vocational secondary education)
• Preferably 0-2 years of experience as a production worker, operator, packer, or similar role in production or the food industry
• Accuracy and attention to quality
• Ability to work in a team and a hands-on attitude
• Dutch or English language skills
