Groundworker

About the job

You work outside doing groundwork and paving in an industrial setting. It is physical work with different tasks every day.

What you'll do

• Carry out groundwork by hand
• Assist with machine groundwork (digging and soil suction)
• Prepare the ground for paving and work with compaction equipment
• Lay small-scale surfaces, alone or as part of a team
• Clean and tidy the worksite

What we ask

• Experience in groundwork, or a willingness to learn on the job
• You hold a VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for working in hazardous environments), or you are willing to get one with support from the employer
• You have a category B driving licence, or your own transport such as a scooter or e-bike to get to the worksite. Public transport is not an option
• Willingness to work in the chemical industry
• You can speak and write Dutch

Pay: €19.06 gross per hour. You will be employed on a standard employment contract, not as a self-employed person.
