Groundworker

About the job

We are looking for a groundworker for a client near Rotterdam. The work is outdoors, on different construction sites in the region. If you have experience in groundwork and want to work in a stable team, this job is for you.

What you'll do

• Digging by hand and with machines
• Laying and connecting sewer pipes and other underground systems
• Preparing and levelling ground for foundations, roads and pavements
• Operating small construction machines (plate compactor, asphalt saw)
• Assisting excavator operators and other specialists on site
• Keeping the site tidy and safe
• Working according to technical drawings and instructions from the site manager

What we ask

• Experience in groundwork or construction
• VCA certificate (basic safety certificate for construction) is a strong plus
• Able to do physical work in changing weather conditions
• Category B driving licence
• Good physical fitness
• Able to work independently and take responsibility for your work

What we offer

• Salary from €15.00 to €18.50 gross per hour, depending on experience
• Full-time work
• Possibility of long-term employment
• Work in the Rotterdam region
