Ground Worker

About the job

The client works on GWW projects (road, water and underground construction) in the Zuidwest-Friesland region. You work on different construction sites doing groundwork and preparing the ground for the next stages of construction. Teams are small, communication is direct, and new workers are properly onboarded.

What you'll do

• Digging trenches and building pits
• Supporting the installation of pipes, cables and sewers
• Preparing the ground for surfaces and foundations
• Embankments, levelling and soil reinforcement
• Keeping the construction site safe

What we ask

• Willing to do physical work outdoors
• VCA Basis certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for construction workers), or willing to get it
• Category B driving licence
• Good team player who takes initiative

What we offer

• €17.15 to €19.68 gross per hour
