Warehouse Manager

About the job

As a warehouse manager in Amsterdam, you make sure everything in the warehouse runs smoothly. You have a clear overview, switch quickly between receiving goods, issuing materials and managing stock, and you make sure projects never stop because materials are missing. You work at a fixed location on Coenhavenweg. You have a lot of responsibility and room to improve processes.

What you'll do

• Receive, check and register incoming goods and material flows
• Issue tools and materials and take them back in an accurate and controlled way
• Monitor stock levels, spot shortages early and support the ordering process
• Keep the warehouse safe, clean and well organised so colleagues find what they need straight away
• Enter data into the system and coordinate with colleagues, suppliers and carriers

What we ask

• MBO (Dutch vocational) level education, preferably in logistics or warehouse management
• 3 to 5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics or a similar setting
• Experience with receiving, storing, issuing goods and keeping stock records
• Confident using inventory management and material data systems
• Clear communication with colleagues, suppliers and carriers
• Able to work independently, set priorities and keep tasks in order
• Comfortable working in an environment where safety comes first

What we offer

• Salary from €3,400 to €4,200 gross per month
• 25 holiday days and 13 ADV days (ADV are extra paid days off, agreed under the Dutch CAO collective labour agreement)
• Full time, 40 hours per week at a fixed location in Amsterdam
