Property Maintenance Foreman

About the job

As a property maintenance foreman, you lead renovation, maintenance and improvement projects in the north of the Netherlands. You combine technical skills with good organisation: you manage a team, work alongside them, and make sure residents, clients and colleagues always know where things stand.

What you'll do

• You divide the work and give clear instructions to carpenters and other tradespeople.
• You keep track of planning, progress, quality, materials and a safe workplace.
• You take an active part in renovation, maintenance and improvement work.
• You coordinate with site managers, clients, residents and subcontractors.
• You spot problems and scope changes, make the right calls, and bring projects to a proper completion.

What we ask

• 3 to 5 years of experience in property maintenance, renovation or construction.
• Proven technical knowledge as a carpenter, preferably at mbo level (Dutch vocational qualification, roughly equivalent to a trade certificate).
• Ability to lead colleagues, organise work and set priorities on your own.
• Accurate, communicative and focused on working well with others.
• Driving licence category B.
