About the job
As a painting foreman, you work on different painting projects in Ommen every day. At the same time, you keep the work in your team running smoothly. You combine hands-on painting work with coordinating and supervising your colleagues.
What you'll do
- Carry out painting work and prepare surfaces.
- Lead and supervise painters on site.
- Divide tasks and keep track of the daily schedule.
- Check the quality and finish of painting work.
- Monitor progress on the job.
- Stay in contact with the site manager and the client.
- Make sure materials and tools are available on time.
- Find practical solutions and make sure work is done safely.
- Work independently on projects while supporting colleagues with their tasks.
What we ask
- Experience as a painter, including surface preparation and finishing.
- Experience leading or supervising people, or a clear wish to grow into that role.
- You work independently and take responsibility for the quality of your work.
- You work well with a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and others involved in a project.
- Category B driving licence.
- VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for construction and industrial work), or willingness to obtain one.
- You already live in the Netherlands and have the right to work here. No work permit, residence permit or sponsorship is provided.

- Gross salary of €3,000 to €4,500 per month, depending on experience.
