Production Shift Manager

About the job

As a shift manager in Elsloo, you lead production coordinators and report to the production manager. You also indirectly manage operators and production workers. You make sure production runs smoothly and without disruptions.

What you'll do

• Lead and coach 40 to 50 direct and indirect employees
• Organise and improve production and staffing planning, and track progress
• Work in a results-focused way and keep an eye on targets and quality
• Organise work meetings on the production floor
• Help develop improvement proposals and take part in putting them into practice
• Handle customer orders together with account managers
• Draw up and carry out the production plan

• Knowledge of logistics and technical processes
• Able to handle pressure
• Proactive attitude
• Good at solving problems
• Management skills, empathy, and the ability to listen
• Dutch and English language skills
• MBO or HBO level of thinking or education (MBO is Dutch vocational college, HBO is Dutch bachelor-level applied university)

What we offer

• Salary up to €3,805 gross per month (based on 40 hours per week), depending on knowledge and experience
• 25 days of holiday (based on full-time)
• Holiday allowance (vakantiegeld, a statutory Dutch bonus) of 10.5%

• Two-shift schedule: 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00
• Overtime allowance
