Service Technician – Windows and Doors

About the job

You work as a service technician and handle preventive maintenance of windows and doors at private homes and businesses. You don't install new windows. This is pure service work in your own region around Hoogeveen.

What you'll do

• You check and adjust window and door fittings
• You replace parts such as end caps and seals, and lubricate moving parts
• You carry out small repairs to keep everything in good condition
• You work at different locations every day, on your own or with one or two colleagues

What we ask

• You live in the Hoogeveen region
• You speak Dutch well, because you work at customers' homes
• You have a category B driving licence
• You are in good physical shape (a lot of stair climbing, light transport work)
• You are tidy, presentable and focused on the customer
• You can apply for a VOG (Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag, a Dutch certificate of good conduct)
• You are looking for a steady job for the longer term
• Experience as a service technician is a plus, but not required
• A valid VCA certificate (Dutch safety certificate for working on job sites) is an extra plus

Offer

• Starting salary from €2,600 net per month, increasing with experience (range: €2,750–€3,450 gross per month)
• Daily allowance of €6.80 net for coffee
• Full-time day shifts
• Weekends off, no emergency on-call duties
• Annual bonus of €350 net
• No-sick-day bonus of €50 net per quarter
• 24 holiday days plus 11.5 ATV days (reduced working hours days), totalling 35.5 days off per year
• Pension contribution of 15.90% paid from your first day
• Work clothes and safety boots provided by the employer
• Tablet and work phone for submitting parking costs
• A van with tools is possible by agreement
