Service Technician

**About the job**

As a service technician, you work independently. You travel to different locations to inspect, maintain and repair technical installations. You are the person people call when something stops working. You analyse the problem, find a solution and get the installation back in order. No two days are the same.

**What you'll do**

• Carry out maintenance work on technical installations
• Find and fix faults
• Inspect and test installations
• Carry out repairs and technical work
• Travel independently to clients and various locations
• Explain to clients what work you did and how you solved the problem
• Consult colleagues on more difficult problems
• Hand over completed work in a neat and safe condition

**What we ask**

• Experience as a service technician or in a similar technical role
• A technical background, for example in mechanics, electrical engineering or installation technology
• Ability to analyse technical problems
• You can work independently and take responsibility for your own work
• You are client-oriented and can explain clearly what you have done
• Willing to work at different locations
• Category B driving licence, required because you use a company van
