Service Technician Vehicle Inspection Equipment (APK)

**About the job**

You work as a service technician for specialist vehicle inspection equipment, known in the Netherlands as APK (the mandatory periodic vehicle roadworthiness test). You visit car workshops in the Amersfoort, Barneveld and Utrecht area. Every day is different: you travel to customers, solve technical problems and make sure the equipment works reliably, safely and accurately. You do not need to know this specific equipment already. The opdrachtgever (client company) provides full in-house training.

**What you'll do**

• Carry out preventive maintenance and technical checks
• Install and commission new APK inspection equipment
• Diagnose and fix technical faults
• Carry out repairs on-site at customer locations
• Advise customers on how to use and maintain the equipment

**What we ask**

• Experience as a service technician or in a similar role
• A technical background, for example in mechatronics, mechanical engineering or automotive
• You work independently, have a customer-focused attitude and want to keep developing yourself technically
• You preferably live near Amersfoort, Barneveld or Utrecht

• Salary from €3,200 to €4,000 gross per month, depending on your knowledge and experience
