About the job
As a category C driver, you make sure artisan bakeries get their orders on time every day. You deliver the supplies they need to make fresh bread, pastries and chocolate.
What you'll do
- Drive fixed distribution routes
- Load and transport bakery raw materials
- Unload using electric pallet trucks and roll containers
- Check orders and transport documents
- Deliver products to the right location
- Keep in contact with customers
- Report any problems during the route
- Handle the vehicle, materials and cargo with care
- Work according to the applicable safety rules
What we ask
- Category C driving licence
- Valid driver card
- Code 95 (a qualification required for professional truck drivers in the EU), or willingness to get it within a short time
- Experience as a driver is a plus
- Good command of Dutch or English
- Able to move goods weighing up to around 25 kg
- Accurate when carrying out deliveries and handling paperwork
- Professional appearance and attitude towards customers
- Ambition to grow towards a CE driving licence
