Truck Driver C or CE – bakery wholesale

About the job

The client is a bakery products wholesaler near Utrecht. You work in a small, close team. The atmosphere is informal and people help each other out.

What you'll do

• You start early in the morning, usually between 02:00 and 05:00, depending on your route
• You deliver bakery ingredients to bakeries on routes with 10 to 15 stops
• You unload products, mostly on roll containers and pallets, using a tail lift
• You move roll containers with an electric pallet truck or mover
• Together with a bakery employee you put the products in place and take the empty pallets and roll containers back to the warehouse
• You finish work between 12:00 and 14:30
• You drive a truck with a refrigeration unit, because the routes include chilled and frozen products

What we ask

• Driving licence category C or CE
• Code 95 (Certificate of Professional Competence, required for professional drivers in the EU)
• A valid driver card (tachograph card)
• Good physical condition, the job involves handling heavy roll containers and unloading goods at customer sites
• A positive attitude towards physical work

What we offer

• Pay between €18.71 and €20.24 gross per hour
• An extra allowance on top of the hourly rate for early morning hours
• Pay in line with the client's CAO (collective labour agreement, sets minimum pay and conditions per sector)
• A shift and night allowance
• The option to top up your qualifications, including renewing Code 95
