About the job
As a CE truck driver you are more than just someone behind the wheel. You are a regular point of contact for customers and you make sure orders are delivered safely, completely and on time. You work for a wholesaler that supplies raw materials to craft bakeries across the Netherlands.
What you'll do
- Drive fixed distribution routes
- Load and unload bakery raw materials (flour, chocolate, baking mixes and more)
- Work with electric pallet trucks and roll containers
- Deliver orders correctly to customers
- Check transport and shipping documents
- Keep in contact with customers
- Report any problems during the route
- Follow safe working practices and secure cargo properly
- Keep the truck and equipment clean and tidy
What we ask
- CE driving licence
- Valid code 95 (mandatory qualification for professional truck drivers in the EU)
- Driver card (tachograph)
- At least one year of experience as a truck driver
- Dutch or English language skills
- Physically able to move goods up to around 25 kg
- Accurate when working with transport documents
- No problem starting early (around 04:15)
