About the job
A tractor driver with boom mower works on the maintenance of urban green spaces, infrastructure and sports grounds in the province of Zuid-Holland. Every day you go out into the field, plan your routes, mow grass, trim hedges and take care of the equipment assigned to you.
What you'll do
- Carry out mowing work accurately, following the daily schedule
- Operate the mowing and suction combination
- Mulch mowing and cutting hedges with a flail mower
- Log completed work in a mobile app
- Fix minor faults yourself or contact the workshop when needed
- Fit and remove the mowing set
- Keep the tractor and attachments clean and ready to use
What we ask
- VMBO-level education or equivalent hands-on experience
- 1 to 5 years of experience operating machinery, working outdoors or in green maintenance
- Driving licence category B and T
- VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for working on construction and industrial sites) or willingness to obtain it
- Ability to work independently, attention to detail and a focus on safety
- Interest in machinery, technology and working outside
What we offer
- Salary from €2,700 to €3,600 gross per month, depending on experience
- ADV supplement of 6.5% on top of your base salary
- 26 days of holiday per year
- Vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory annual bonus in the Netherlands) of 8.33%
