About the job

A modern production company in 's-Gravenpolder (near Goes) makes structures and parts from stainless steel, steel and aluminium. The team consists of welders and structural fitters.

What you'll do

• Weld metal structures using MIG/MAG
• Prepare parts by measuring, cutting, grinding and deburring
• Assemble parts according to technical drawings
• Carry out repair and maintenance work on metal structures
• Work with various techniques: cutting, bending, welding, punching, rolling, filing and drilling
• Complete a range of customer orders together with the team

What we ask

• Experience in MIG/MAG welding
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Knowledge of metalworking (cutting, grinding, bending)

What we offer

• Salary: €2,800–€3,500 gross per month (based on 40 hours per week), depending on experience
• Travel allowance: €0.25 per km
• Supplements and overtime pay according to the CAO Metaal & Techniek (CAO is a Dutch collective labour agreement that sets minimum pay and conditions for a sector)
• 25 days of holiday per year
• Vakantiegeld (Dutch holiday allowance, a mandatory extra payment) of 8.33%
• Pension accrual from day one
• Free training and tests at welding centres across the Netherlands
• Opportunity to obtain certificates, including VCA (VCA is a Dutch safety certificate commonly required in industry)
• Option to use a car for commuting
• Work within 30–40 km of your home
• Work clothing and personal protective equipment provided by the client company or the uitzendbureau (staffing agency)
• Flexible pay: weekly or every 4 weeks
• A dedicated contact person who handles all paperwork
