Multi-trade Welder

About the job

For a client near Groningen, we are looking for an experienced welder. The work involves welding using different methods in a production or structural environment.

What you'll do

• Weld using MIG/MAG, TIG or stick (coated electrode) methods
• Read and interpret technical drawings and welding diagrams
• Make welds that meet quality requirements and tolerances
• Check the quality of your own welds and correct any deviations
• Prepare materials and parts before welding (cutting, grinding, positioning)
• Operate and maintain welding equipment
• Work together with other production staff and quality control
• Follow health and safety rules and company procedures

What we ask

• Experience as a welder, at least 2 years
• Knowledge of at least one welding method: MIG/MAG, TIG or stick
• Ability to read technical drawings
• A welding certificate (for example EN 9606) is an advantage
• VCA certificate (Dutch safety certificate for contractors) is a plus
• Accurate and focused on quality
• Category B driving licence and own transport (no organised transport to the site)

What we offer

• Pay from €17.50 to €21.00 gross per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
• Temporary employment contract with the possibility of a permanent position
• Day shifts, Monday to Friday
• Possibility to gain additional welding certificates
