Senior Industrial Automation Technician

About the job

As a Senior Industrial Automation Technician, you build and install control systems for industrial projects. You work on sites like production lines and water treatment stations. You give technical advice, make sure the work is done right, and help less experienced colleagues grow in the trade. Every project is different, so you keep developing your skills and you see the results of your work every day.

What you'll do

• Build and install control systems for machines and production processes.
• Work on complex installations across different industrial projects.
• Carry out installation work in ATEX zones, where strict safety rules apply.
• Follow hygiene requirements for installations in sectors like food production.
• Check your work and make sure installations run correctly and safely.
• Support less experienced colleagues and share your technical knowledge.
• Work both in a team and on your own, delivering a reliable end result.

What we ask

• A technical qualification at MBO-3 level (Dutch vocational education, intermediate level) or higher in industrial automation or electrical engineering, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Up-to-date knowledge of machines and automation.
• Experience as an independent technician in industrial automation.
• Category B driving licence.
• VCA VOL certificate (a safety certificate required on many Dutch industrial sites). No certificate is not a problem, you can obtain it after starting.
• Willingness to learn, a hands-on attitude, and a calm approach to solving technical problems.
