Senior Multi-Discipline Technician

About the job

As a senior multi-discipline technician, you are one of the main technical points of contact in the production facility. The machine park is varied and includes different production installations, technical utilities, and auxiliary equipment. The plant produces high-quality semi-finished products, such as fragrance and flavour substances, in a batch process. You work in a technically demanding production environment in the food and chemical industry, where reliability, safety, and quality are key.

What you'll do

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance
• Independently analyse and resolve complex mechanical and electrical faults
• Perform repairs and modifications to installations
• Find the root cause of breakdowns and prevent them from happening again
• Work together with the production, work preparation, and other technical departments
• Take an active part in developing technical improvements and increasing the reliability of the machine park
• Work according to strict safety procedures, including Lock-out/Tag-out
• Contribute to a safe, efficient, and high-quality production environment

What we ask

• Technical education at MBO 4 level (Dutch secondary vocational qualification) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in maintenance or technical equipment servicing
• Experience in both mechanical and electrical work
• Experience in the food, chemical, or process industry is a plus
• Very good command of Dutch
• Willingness to participate in a technical on-call rota (consignatie)

What we offer

• Gross salary of €4,000 to €5,700 per month
• 40-hour working week
• One-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position
• Fixed on-call allowance of €315 per month
• Monthly health insurance contribution of €150
• 25 holiday days and 13 ADV days (short-time working reduction days) per year
