MIG/MAG TIG Welder

About the job

The client makes agricultural machinery and is looking for a welder to work in their workshop. Your work shows directly in the finished machines, which operate in tough conditions.

What you'll do

• You start the day with coffee and a quick rundown of tasks with your colleagues
• Assembling and welding parts for agricultural machines
• Reading technical drawings and positioning parts based on them
• Welding using MIG/MAG and/or TIG
• Making sure every structure is solid, dimensionally accurate and neatly finished
• Checking your own welds as you work
• Preparing finished parts for the next stage of production

What we ask

• Experience with MIG/MAG and/or TIG welding
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Accuracy and a practical approach to work
• Maximum travel distance from the workplace applies (ask during recruitment)

What we offer

• Pay: €2,900 - €3,400 gross per month (based on 40 hours per week), depending on experience
• Travel reimbursement: €0.23 per km, from 7 km one way
• Allowances and overtime pay according to CAO Metaal & Techniek (the collective labour agreement for the metal and technology sector)
• 25 days of holiday per year
