Construction Carpenter - Renovation and Thermal Insulation

About the job

You work as a carpenter on renovation and thermal insulation projects at residential buildings in Deventer and the surrounding area. You combine your craft with visible results, carrying out carpentry work independently across a range of projects.

What you'll do

• Carry out carpentry work independently on renovation and thermal insulation projects
• Read construction drawings and replace, repair and improve structural elements
• Check quality, work accurately and finish neatly
• Spot problems on site and suggest practical solutions
• Work safely alongside colleagues, site managers, subcontractors and residents

What we ask

• Experience as a construction carpenter on renovation, maintenance or building improvement projects
• Completed vocational training at BBL-2 or BBL-3 level (Dutch work-based learning qualifications), or comparable hands-on experience
• Able to work independently from construction drawings
• Technical insight and a sense of responsibility for your work
• Attention to quality, safety and neat finishing
• Proactive attitude and willingness to find practical solutions
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and consideration for residents during works
• Reliable, and you follow safety rules
• You must already live in the Netherlands and have the right to work here. The client (opdrachtgever) does not provide a work permit, residence permit or sponsorship
