Carpenter – Renovations and Building Maintenance

About the job

As a carpenter specialising in renovations and building maintenance, you improve existing homes in the east of the Netherlands. You work independently, use professional equipment, and take on jobs close to where you live.

What you'll do

• Carry out renovation, maintenance, and energy improvement work
• Repair or replace door frames, doors, and structural building elements
• Install insulation and deliver neat finishing work
• Plan, organise, and monitor your own work independently
• Coordinate with colleagues and residents, and bring projects to a results-focused close

What we ask

• 5 to 10 years of experience in carpentry, renovation, or maintenance work
• MBO level 2 or 3 (Dutch vocational education) in carpentry, or documented equivalent experience
• Interest in energy improvements, insulation, and work on existing buildings
• A safe, precise, and solution-focused way of working
• Valid category B driving licence
• Right to work in the Netherlands. The client does not provide work permits, residence permits, or visa sponsorship
• You must already live in the Netherlands and have the right to work. Candidates who need a permit or sponsorship are not considered

What's on offer

• Gross monthly salary of €3,500 to €4,500 at 40 hours per week, depending on experience
• 48 days of leave per year, of which 18 days can be taken flexibly or paid out
• Direct employment contract with the prospect of a permanent position after one year
• Company car, Makita tools, work clothing, safety footwear, and personal protective equipment
• Employment conditions in line with CAO Bouw & Infra (the collective labour agreement for construction and infrastructure)
• Training and activities organised by the employee association
