Field Service Technician

About the job

You work as a field service technician. You drive to customers on your own, carry out repairs and inspections on various installations and equipment. The employer provides internal training so you can build the technical skills you need.

What you'll do

• Carry out repairs and inspections on the installations and equipment you have been trained to service
• Follow a daily route plan and arrive at customers on time
• Check your work after each job and fill in checklists and work orders
• Communicate with customers in a clear and polite way
• Follow health and safety rules and keep the workplace tidy

What we ask

• Technical experience or hands-on skills in maintenance, repairs or installation of equipment
• Ability to organise your own work and plan your routes
• Category B driving licence
