Service Technician / Rehabilitation Equipment Fitter

About the job

As a field technician, you make sure that mobility aids like wheelchairs, disability scooters, and walkers work safely and correctly. You work on your own at clients' homes and in the workshop. You help people stay mobile and independent.

What you'll do

• Inspecting and checking mobility aids
• Carrying out small repairs and modifications
• Recording completed work and materials used
• Advising clients on how to use and maintain their equipment
• Taking part in emergency on-call shifts, including evenings and weekends

What we ask

• MBO level 3 diploma in a technical field
• Experience as a field service technician, with a social and client-focused attitude
• NEN3140 inspector certificate (a Dutch electrical safety certification) is a plus
• Ability to spot problems quickly and find lasting solutions
• Ability to work independently and share your knowledge with colleagues

What we offer

• Salary from €2,937 to €3,658 gross per month
• Fixed-term contract with the prospect of permanent employment
• Full-time work: 38 to 40 hours per week
• 24 holiday days, May 5th off every year, and 13 ADV days (ADV: extra days off in exchange for working 40 hours per week) when working a 40-hour week
• Contribution to a fitness pass, a bike scheme, and an on-call bonus of €200 per year
