Technical Service Engineer

About the job

As a technical service engineer, you make sure that technical work is done properly and that any faults are fixed quickly. You work on your own at different locations and you are responsible for the quality of the end result.

What you'll do

• Carry out a range of service and maintenance tasks.
• Find and fix technical faults.
• Do small technical and building jobs.
• Plan your own tasks and travel routes.
• Make sure you have the materials and tools you need.
• Coordinate with colleagues and others involved in the work.
• Check completed work and keep the quality high.

What we ask

• MBO 3/4 level (Dutch vocational qualification) education or equivalent thinking level, preferably in a technical direction.
• Experience in technical work is a plus.
• Good with your hands, accurate and focused on solving problems.
• Able to work on your own and communicate easily with others.
• Category B driving licence.
• VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for working on job sites) or willingness to obtain it.
• A positive attitude and a desire to keep developing.
