Installation Technician

About the job

As an installation technician, you work on a range of technical jobs. From full installations in new buildings to upgrading existing systems during renovations. No two days are the same.

What you'll do

• Install heating and sanitary systems, including gas, water and sewage pipes
• Inspect and maintain existing systems to keep them safe and running well
• Find faults, carry out repairs and get systems back up and running as quickly as possible
• Work with modern, eco-friendly solutions such as heat pumps and solar collectors
• Work together with colleagues and deal directly with customers, making sure jobs are handed over properly

What we ask

• MBO (Dutch vocational education, level 3 or 4) in installation engineering, or similar hands-on experience
• Strong technical knowledge, a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
• Full availability (full-time) and willingness to be on call for emergencies
• Able to work independently, but also happy to work as part of a team
• A customer-friendly attitude and the ability to communicate in a professional way
• Experience with eco-friendly systems such as heat pumps is a plus

What we offer

• Salary from 3,000 to 3,200 euro gross per month, depending on experience and knowledge
• Prospect of a permanent contract with good performance
• Flexible working week: 32 to 40 hours per week
• Travel costs reimbursed in line with the CAO Metaal & Techniek (the collective labour agreement for the metal and technology sector)
• Access to training and courses to develop your technical skills
