About the job
The client is looking for a lift technician in the Breda area. After an onboarding period, you will work independently. You visit different locations to maintain and repair lifts and escalators.
What you'll do
- Measure lift shafts
- Take part in emergency standby duty
- Inspect escalators and lifts for safety and proper operation
- Repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Keep customers informed about the work you do
- Handle administration for worked hours and reports
- Make sure customers are satisfied
What we ask
- MBO diploma (Dutch vocational qualification, level 3 or 4) in electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering
- Category B driving licence
- VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for working on job sites), or willingness to obtain it
- Results-focused and customer-focused attitude
- Good communication and people skills
- Willingness to work outside standard 9-to-5 hours
What we offer
- Salary from €2,800 to €4,000 gross per month based on 40 hours per week, depending on education and experience
