Automotive glazing technician

About the job

As a glazing technician, you assess, repair and replace car windows. You are the first point of contact for customers and explain clearly what work you are doing. You also handle the paperwork correctly and help keep customers safe on the road.

What you'll do

• Assess damage to car windows
• Repair and replace car windows
• Advise customers on safety and maintenance
• Fit temporary protection when the final window is not immediately available
• Recalibrate camera systems and driver assistance systems
• Handle the admin for completed work
• Carry out after-sales tasks following repairs

What we ask

• Category B driving licence, manual gearbox required
• Good physical condition and able to stay active throughout the day
• Good at talking with customers and explaining work in plain language
• Willing to be on call for emergencies in the evenings and at weekends (usually one Saturday per month)
• Interest in technology
• Precise and focused on good customer service
• Happy to do physical work

• Gross salary from €2,800 to €3,500 per month
