Machine and Installation Technician

About the job

As a service technician, you make sure that machines and technical installations at clients' sites run properly. You work at different locations and you are responsible for maintenance, repairs, and solving technical problems.

What you'll do

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and installations
• Find and fix mechanical and electrotechnical faults
• Repair and replace technical parts
• Install and test machines and installations
• Support clients with technical questions
• Report on completed work
• Flag improvement opportunities and suggest solutions
• Work together with colleagues on larger maintenance projects

What we ask

• Technical education at MBO (Dutch vocational education) level 3 or 4
• Field of study: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or mechatronics
• Experience as a service technician, maintenance engineer, or in a similar role
• Technical knowledge and ability to work independently
• Good communication skills
• Category B driving licence
• Willing to work at different locations
• Flexible for occasional on-call duties if needed
