Fire Alarm Systems Service Technician

About the job

As a fire alarm systems service technician, you make sure that alarm installations and evacuation systems work reliably and meet current standards. You work independently, you have an eye for detail, and you help customers with technical questions.

What you'll do

• Carry out preventive inspections: check and maintain fire alarm installations and evacuation alarm systems.
• Fix faults: respond quickly to breakdown reports, analyse problems, and apply the right solutions.
• Advise customers: answer technical questions and explain how the installations work.
• Keep records: log completed maintenance work and write accurate reports.
• Cover emergency standby: after your onboarding period, be flexibly available for service standby shifts.

What we ask

• MBO-2 (Dutch vocational qualification, level 2), preferably in a technical field.
• Knowledge of fire alarm installations and evacuation alarm systems.
• An IDB and/or ODB certificate is a plus.
• Willingness to cover emergency standby after your onboarding period.
• Category B driving licence.
• A valid verklaring van betrouwbaarheid (certificate of trustworthiness, issued in the Netherlands).
