Flat Roof Roofer (Self-Employed)

As a self-employed roofer (ZZP, a Dutch term for independent contractor / sole trader), you work on various flat roof projects in and around Rotterdam. The client is an experienced company specialised in this type of work. They expect solid quality and the ability to work independently.

What you'll do

• Carry out renovation and maintenance work on flat roofs
• Lay and install roofing materials
• Apply torch-on bitumen membrane (APP/SBS) using a gas torch
• Inspect and repair roofs for damage and wear
• Work in line with current safety regulations

What we ask

• At least 3 years of experience as a roofer, including as a self-employed contractor
• Knowledge of bitumen roofing and hands-on experience with torch-on technique
• Valid VCA certificate (VCA is a Dutch safety certification required on most construction sites)
• Own registered business with an active KvK number (KvK is the Dutch Chamber of Commerce business register)
• Own tools and own van for transport

• Hourly rate from €38.00 to €46.00, depending on experience and skills
