Tram Service Mechanic

About the job

You work as an independent mechanic on the maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of trams. You carry out work on undercarriages, bodywork and running gear, following the applicable quality standards.

What you'll do

• You carry out inspections and measurements, and diagnose and fix mechanical and electrotechnical faults
• You replace worn parts and calibrate systems accurately
• You report technical faults and suggest improvements
• You report on completed work and the technical condition of the vehicles
• You follow the applicable procedures and health and safety rules, and take part in daily briefings with the mechanic team

What we ask

• A technical background in mechanics or electrotechnics (experience with trams or metro is not required)
• Willingness to work a two-shift schedule
• A careful and independent way of working
