Maintenance Mechanic / Technician

About the job

You work as an all-round maintenance mechanic on machines and installations at a production facility in Drachten. You work both independently and in a team, on a 3-shift schedule.

What you'll do

• You carry out inspections and maintenance (including preventive maintenance) on machines and installations, both mechanical and electrical
• You locate and fix faults on your own
• You take part in assembly work and technical projects
• You actively contribute to improving and optimising installations and processes
• You keep accurate records of work carried out and observations made

What we ask

• At least 1 year of experience in a technical role in industry or production
• Category B driving licence (VCA certificate, a Dutch safety certificate for working in industrial environments, is a plus, or willingness to obtain one)
• Availability for full-time work (40 hours per week) and willingness to work in a 3-shift schedule

What we offer

• Gross salary from €3,300 to €3,800 per month, depending on experience (excluding shift allowance)
• Shift allowance of 15% on top of gross salary
• Travel costs reimbursed in line with the CAO (Dutch collective labour agreement)
• 25 holiday days and 8.33% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory annual bonus paid on top of your salary)
