Electrical Installation Fitter (Heat Tracing)

About the job

We are looking for an electrical installation fitter who specialises in heat tracing systems. The work is full-time, on industrial sites and technical facilities in Rotterdam.

What you'll do

• Install, connect and commission electric heat tracing systems on pipelines and tanks
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical documentation
• Lay and fix heating cables according to the project design
• Connect distribution boards and junction boxes
• Carry out control measurements and function tests
• Work together with the project manager and other teams on site
• Report progress and flag faults

What we ask

• Experience in electrical installation work, preferably in heat tracing systems or the process industry
• Technical education in electrical engineering or a completed electrician course
• VCA certificate (VCA is a Dutch safety certification for working on industrial sites, basic level or VOL) - preferred or required
• Ability to read electrical diagrams
• Category B driving licence
• Good physical condition and willingness to work on industrial sites
• Communicative level of English or Dutch
