Flange Fitter

About the job

We are looking for an experienced flange fitter for a client in the Rotterdam area. You work on industrial sites, mainly in the petrochemical and port sector. You know the safety procedures and can carry out flange connections on your own.

What you'll do

• Assemble and disassemble flange connections on pipelines and industrial installations
• Select and replace gaskets according to technical documentation
• Tighten flange bolts to the required torque values
• Work on high-pressure and low-pressure installations
• Follow safety procedures and rules for working in hazardous zones
• Work together with the inspector and site manager
• Report completed work and defects found

What we ask

• Proven experience as a flange fitter
• VCA certificate (VCA is a Dutch safety certification for working on industrial sites; VCA VOL is preferred)
• Knowledge of hydraulic bolt tensioning and torquing techniques
• Ability to read technical and isometric drawings
• Willing to work at industrial sites and refineries
• Category B driving licence and access to your own car
• Communicative level of English

• Hourly rate from €45.00 to €52.00 gross
