Production and Assembly Worker

About the job

The client is an international manufacturing company in Rotterdam, part of a network of over 140 branches worldwide. They make high-quality components for the recreational, marine, automotive, and construction industries. They are looking for a full-time assembly worker on a shift basis.

What you'll do

• Assemble parts such as screws, fittings, and seals
• Install brackets and hardware in frames and structures
• Carry out quality checks on windows and other components
• Work according to technical drawings and instructions
• Work with colleagues to keep things running smoothly
• Stay accurate and precise throughout your shift
• Keep your workspace clean and safe
• Work in shifts: 06:30-15:00, 15:00-23:30, or 23:30-06:30

What we ask

• Basic English or Dutch (speaking and writing)
• 0-1 years of experience in production, assembly, or a similar role
• Motivated, accurate, and attentive to detail
• Available for 2- or 3-shift work
• Able to work in a team
• Own accommodation in or around Rotterdam
• A driving licence is a plus, but not required

What we offer

• Pay: €14.99 gross per hour (including ADV, a Dutch system of extra time off in lieu of overtime)
• Shift allowance: 14% for 2 shifts, 22% for 3 shifts
• 8% vakantiegeld (Dutch statutory holiday pay, paid on top of your wage)
• Weekly pay
• Travel costs reimbursed at €0.23 per km from 10 km
• Pension scheme through StiPP
• Informal atmosphere and a canteen with low-cost food
