Food Production Worker

About the job

You work on one of the production lines. Together with your colleagues, you make sure the production process runs smoothly and safely. You check products and act when something is not right.

What you'll do

• Operate and adjust machines on the production line
• Check products for quality, weight, and packaging
• Pack and label products following fixed instructions
• Record production and quality data
• Spot and report breakdowns and deviations
• Keep your work area clean and tidy

You work day and evening shifts

• Day shift: 08:00 - 16:30
• Evening shift: 16:00 - 00:00

For evening shift hours worked after 18:00, you receive a 25% shift allowance.

What we ask

• Experience in a production environment is welcome, but not required
• Available for day and evening shifts
• Able to stand for longer periods and lift up to 15 kg
• Dutch or English language skills
• No forklift certificate needed, you can get one during your employment

What we offer

• Gross rate of €15.99 per hour, plus 25% evening allowance for hours worked after 18:00
• 25 days of holiday per year at full-time hours, plus 8.33% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory Dutch bonus paid on top of your wages)
• Travel costs reimbursed at €0.23 per kilometre, and pension accrual from your first day
• Opportunity to get qualifications and certificates, such as VCA (a Dutch health and safety certificate) and forklift
• Option to grow into an Operator or Senior Production Worker role
• Permanent contract possible with good performance
