Independent installation engineer

About the job

The client is a family business based in Erp. They have been doing installations for private clients and businesses for years. You work independently on different projects, you have real input in how you organise your work, and you are part of a small team with short lines of communication.

What you'll do

• Install technical systems: laying pipework and manifolds, fitting ventilation systems and heat pumps
• Plan your own work: check the schedule, check material availability and prepare before you start
• Adjust and check installations after fitting, before you hand over the site
• Share ideas for improvements and look for better solutions together
• Stay in contact with colleagues, site managers and clients during projects

What we ask

• Hands-on experience in installation technology, for example in new builds or renovations
• CO-vakmanschap certificate (a Dutch certification for heating and combustion systems). No certificate is not a problem, the client is open to supporting you in getting it
• Category B driving licence
• Accurate work and the ability to stay calm when something unexpected comes up
• Good communication with clients and colleagues
• Able to work independently and willing to consult with the team when needed

What we offer

• Salary of €2,500 to €3,500 gross per month, depending on experience and knowledge
• Fixed-term contract with the prospect of a permanent position
• 32 to 40 hours per week, agreed together
• 38 days off: 25 holiday days and 13 ATV days (ATV are extra days off that reduce weekly working hours, common in Dutch construction and technical sectors)
